Terms of use
The rules of using The Melons' Studio — our space, our workshops, our shop and this website. Plain English, and short on purpose.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and the details you give us must be true.
Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
We can suspend or close an account that is used to harass people, damage the studio, or break these terms.
Bookings, workshops and passes
A booking is confirmed when payment succeeds, not when you add it to the cart. Seats and slots are limited and go in the order they are paid for.
Arrive on time. We hold workshop places until the class starts and cannot pause a session for a late arrival.
We may occasionally cancel or move a workshop — if we do, you can take the new date or your money back. See the cancellation and refund policy.
Payments and prices
Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless we say otherwise.
Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
All sales are final — please read the cancellation and refund policy before you pay.
Memberships
A membership runs for the period you paid for and gives you the benefits listed for your tier at the time you bought it.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and it is not refunded.
We may change tiers, prices or benefits for future periods. We will tell you before it affects you.
Melon Points
Points are a thank-you, not money. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Points earned on a purchase that is refunded or reversed are taken back.
We can void points obtained by abusing the referral scheme or by any other trick.
The shop
Kits are collected from the studio — we do not ship.
If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days and we will replace it.
Materials are for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
In the studio
Follow the safety instructions of whoever is running the session. Kilns, tools and glazes hurt people who ignore them.
You take part in workshops at your own risk. We are responsible for our own negligence, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — but we are not liable for your own choices, for what you leave behind, or for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.
Look after your belongings. We cannot be responsible for things left in the studio.
Work you make is yours. If we want to photograph it or you for our own channels, we will ask first.
This website
Our words, images and branding stay ours; please do not copy them.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will never be wrong or never go down. If we have listed a price or a date incorrectly, we will contact you rather than hold you to a mistake.
Changes, and the law
We may update these terms. If a change actually affects your rights we will tell you, and continuing to use the studio after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
